For meditators who suspect they might have trauma
If you are a meditator who believes you might have trauma, you do.
Everyone is overwhelmed at some point. Most of us have built our personalities around it.
I help meditators find presence with trauma through the Metatrauma Protocol, a present-tense method that works on the self built on top of the wound rather than the wound itself. You leave as a practitioner, not a patient.
Your Practice Isn't Failing You. It's Meeting the Wrong Thing.
Four weeks to learn how to meet anxiety, shame, and overwhelming emotion with a quiet, well-resourced mind. And to keep that ability for life.
🌿 Imagine This
A trigger arrives. The old heat rises in your chest.
But this time you don't brace against it. You don't try to be mindful of it until it goes away. You don't fight it.
You recognize it as experience. Forces moving in you. Your forces.
The story that usually runs, something is wrong with me, shows up and doesn't take the wheel.
Your mind goes quiet. Not because you pushed anything down. Because nothing needs pushing.
This is what your practice was pointing toward all along. Presence that holds when life gets hard, not just on the cushion.
This Is for You If You're Struggling With...
- 😰 Anxiety that keeps running no matter how much you sit.
- 😔 Guilt and shame that feel older than anything you can remember doing.
- 🌊 Emotions that are too strong, flooding you before awareness can catch up.
- 💔 Relationship challenges that come from all of the above.
And underneath it, a quiet belief: Maybe I'm just not cut out for awakening.
Why This Is So Hard to See
You have done the work. Meditation. Medicine work. Therapy. Maybe breathwork, retreats, Landmark.
Some of it helped. None of it reached the root.
Here is why. Most approaches either reach for the original event or ask you to simply observe what arises.
The event is past. It can't be revised.
And observing an overwhelmed nervous system doesn't always calm it. Sometimes presence and mindfulness make it worse. This is a real, documented pattern among meditators, and most teachers don't know what to do with it.
What you are still living from isn't the event. It is the identity and shame built on top of it. I call this metatrauma, the trauma around the trauma.
That self is running right now. And because it is running now, it can be met now.
What It Costs You to Stay Here
Every year you keep following spiritual guidance that doesn't quite work, you pay for it.
- ⏳ Time. More retreats, more practices, more waiting for a breakthrough.
- 🔋 Energy. Managing reactions that should not need managing.
- 🤝 Relationships. The people closest to you absorbing what you can't yet hold.
- 🪨 Suffering. Most of it unnecessary.
And the slow erosion of trust in your own path. That may be the heaviest cost of all.
✨ You Were Never the Problem
What you call trauma is dis-integrated experience. Your own forces, distorted.
Their strength is not the problem. Seeing them as not-you is.
Presence is not something you have to achieve. It is your nature. It has been waiting under the formation the whole time.
If you're ready to see your trauma as experience, meet your own forces directly, and discover presence as what you already are, book a call below. On the call we'll build the ground for meeting problems as circumstances.

How the Metatrauma Protocol Works
Four stages. Each one builds on the last. You learn self-hypnosis as a present-tense practice for a present-tense problem.
I teach it rather than perform it. So the change holds when you leave.
- Befriend Your Unconscious Mind
We begin with your relationship to your unconscious mind, exactly as it is. Not as an enemy to override. As the creator of your experience, and a friend you can learn to work with. - Read Your Experience
You learn to tell the difference between experience that is connected and flowing and experience that is separated and reactive. This one distinction changes everything that follows. - When It Flows, Stay
When experience is open and connected, you learn to deepen it through presence, sensing, and imagination. This is where integration happens. - When It Contracts, Indecide
When experience is defensive and separate, you take no action. You leave the question open. Your unconscious learns you have choice, and reactivity loses its fuel.
What Shifts Along the Way
- Anxiety: Your unconscious learns to hold uncertainty easily, so the inner conflict of choosing falls away.
- Guilt and shame: When stories are seen as experience instead of reality, you have choice. And the choice is clear.
- Strong emotions: They are forces moving within you. They are yours. Their strength stops being a threat.
- Relationships: The only relationship you truly have is with your experience. Befriend that, and you find far more agency with others than you believed.

Your Questions, Answered
"I'm not sure I even have trauma."
If you're asking, the work will help. This isn't about diagnosis. It's about how you meet what arises. Everyone has formations built around overwhelm.
"I've already done years of therapy."
Good. That work matters. This works a different layer, the self that formed around the wound. Many clients arrive after decades of therapy and find this is what finally moves.
"Is this a replacement for therapy or medical care?"
No. If you're in crisis or need clinical care, keep it. This is training in how to meet your own experience. It pairs well with other support.
"I'm worried about hypnosis. Will I lose control?"
No. You learn self-hypnosis. You're the one practicing it. The whole point is that you leave with more agency, not less.
"Can real change happen in four weeks?"
Most clients notice a shift after the first session. Four weeks gives you the method and the practice. The skill is yours after that.
"I've tried so much. Why would this be different?"
Because it doesn't ask you to revisit the past or to observe harder. It works what's running now, with a method you keep.

Deliverable 3: Conscious Closing Script
1. 🌅 Desire
"Before we talk about what's in the way, I want to go back to what you told me you want.
You said you want to meet [their trigger, emotion, or situation] without being taken over by it. A quiet mind. Enough resource to stay.
Can you picture a day where that's just how you are? What's different about it?"
Let them answer fully. Reflect their words back.
"That's what I'm here for. Not managing reactions forever. Actually meeting them from presence."
2. 🪨 Obstacles
"What feels like it's in the way right now?"
Listen. Then respond to what you hear.
If they've tried a lot already:
"That makes sense. Most of what's out there works on the past event or asks you to observe harder. We work on the self that's running right now. That's a different target."
If they doubt they're capable:
"Many people I work with carry that exact belief, that they're not cut out for this. That belief is one of the formations we work with. It isn't a verdict on you."
If they're unsure about hypnosis:
"You'll be learning self-hypnosis. You're in charge of it. It's a skill you keep, not something done to you."
If it's timing:
"What would need to be true for this to be the right time?"
3. ⏳ Urgency
"I work with 8 people each month. That's so I can give each of you real attention.
And the pattern you described doesn't wait. Every month it keeps running, it shapes your days and your relationships.
Most people notice a shift after the first session. Within four weeks you'll have the method. My promise is that you'll know how to meet hardship in a way that's authentic and that steadily reduces your reactivity."
4. 🤝 Commitment
"On a scale of one to ten, how ready do you feel to do this?"
If below eight: "What would move that closer to a ten?"
"It's four weeks. One 2-hour session a week on Zoom, with phone or Voxer check-ins between. Can you give yourself that time?"
5. 🎯 Pitch
"I offer services that are specifically designed for those like you who are serious about their practice but keep running into anxiety, shame, or emotions that are too big to sit with. Over four weeks, I teach you to meet the self that formed around your old wounds, directly, through self-hypnosis. You learn when to stay with what arises and when to leave it alone, so your reactivity stops getting fed. And you leave with a practice you own."
"Does that sound like something that will help you?"
6. 💳 Payment
"Wonderful. The investment for the four weeks is $800.
That covers all four 2-hour sessions and support between sessions.
I can send you the link right now, and we can put your first session on the calendar before we hang up. What day works best for you?"
Notes for Mark
- I left out the testimonial "All of his symptoms went away... It was certain death before that." It reads as a medical outcome claim and could create liability on a public page.
- Your workbook had "Money back?" with a question mark, so I used your stated promise and did not add a refund guarantee. Add it only once you've decided.
- I softened "without therapy" into a complement to therapy, and added an FAQ answer clarifying this isn't clinical care. This protects you as a hypnotherapist.
- All urgency rests on your real limit of 8 clients per month. Fill in [X] and [dates] with true numbers only.
- Your payment plan in the workbook equals the full price, so the script presents $800 as a single option.
